Sales for Sony Corp.’s PS Vita ranked as the No. 4 video game hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.
Media Create Co. this month said the PS Vita sold 23,954 units between June 22 and June 28 to rank as the No. 2 hardware for the week.
It sold 12,288 units the week prior.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night ranked as the No. 2 best-selling software for the week selling 94,036 units at launch.
The PSP and PS Vita sold 450,000 units combined Q4. Both handhelds sold 3.3 million units combined for the fiscal year.
The Games and Network Services division, which includes the Playstation business, held an operating profit of $401 million in Q4 compared to a $156 million loss the year prior.
