Microsoft Corp. this week previewed the Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The Elite Controller was hefty, well-built and extremely well-engineered in the demonstration build.

The back panel includes new trigger locks that lock each of the analog triggers for faster refire. Both can be locks can be switched on and off with one easy click.

In addition, the new disc-based pad in the d-pad location was comfortable and hit all diagonals with ease.

The controller will be sold in Oct. at $149.99.
