Sony Corp. this week previewed Ratchet & Clank for the Playstation 4 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The controls were solid and in tune with prior installments with melee and shooting options, including a new Pixelizer that pixelates enemies to 8-bit form.
The graphics engine was solid at 30 frames-per-second with a wide-open animated world and CG-like detail for characters, enemies and other objects.
The new title is a reboot of the 2002 release with modern controls, new planets, new and updated gameplay, new boss fights, new flight sequences and more.
The final game will have a new weapon arsenal and franchise favorites like the Groovitron.
