Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 11,763 units between June 1 to June 7 to rank No. 3 in overall hardware sales.

It sold 12,272 units the week prior.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ranked as the No. 5 software for the week selling 13,272 units for the week.

Sony this week said the Playstation Now service is available on select Samsung Smart TVs in the U.S. and Canada.

The service is available as an app from Samsung’s Smart Hub.

Sony this week said it will release Ratchet and Clank for the Playstation 4.

The new title is a reboot of the 2002 release with modern controls, new planets, new and updated gameplay, new boss fights, new flight sequences and more.

The final game will have a new weapon arsenal and franchise favorites like the Groovitron.

Konami Corp. this week said it will release Pro Evolution Soccer 2016.

The new entry will utilize the Fox Engine upgraded graphics including rain splash, nighttime lightning, and dynamic weather.

The title will triple animation frames, include new ball physics, and updated myClub team building functionality.

Sony this week said it will release The Adventure Home DLC for LittleBigPlanet 3 for the Playstation 4 to the Playstation Network in July.

The Journey Home is a Premium Adventure Pack DLC that will include brand new levels, co-op challenges, and new creative assets.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Universal Partnerships & Licensing this week released LEGO Jurassic World to U.S. retail.

LEGO Jurassic World includes all three Jurassic Park films and the latest film in the franchise, Jurassic World.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment this week said it will release LEGO Marvel’s Avengers this winter.

The title will include moments from The Avengers and The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The final game will include trademark LEGO gameplay and humor. It is in development at TT Games.

Media Create Co. this month said the PS Vita sold 11,439 units between June 1 and June 7 to rank as the No. 4 hardware for the week.

It sold 13,046 units the week prior.

Shiren the Wanderer 5 Plus: Fortune Tower and the Dice of 16,224 units.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 6 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 219 units between June 1 and June 7 to rank No. 6 in overall sales.

It sold 522 units the week prior.

The hardware did not rank any titles in the top 10 for the week.

Microsoft this week said it will sell the Xbox One 1TB console with new Wireless Controller and Halo: The Master Chief Collection for $399.99.

The console will include a 1TB hardware and a new Xbox One Wireless Controller with built-in 3.5mm stereo headset jack.

Microsoft this week said DLC for Halo 5: Guardians for the Xbox One will be released at no cost.

Halo 5: Guardians, to be sold Oct. 27, is the next installment of the franchise to include Master Chief.

Microsoft this month previewed Forza Motorsport 6 for the Xbox One.

The title is said to include 1080p, 60 frames-per-second graphics fidelity with new wet weather, 3D puddles, and night racing options.

Game modes include two-player split-screen races, 24-player online races and Drivatar functionality.

The final game is said to include more than 450 customizable cars and 26 locations.

Microsoft this week released the Porsche Expansion DLC to Forza Horizon 2 for the Xbox One to the Xbox Live division.

The Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Expansion DLC offers 10 vehicles including the 1989 944 Turbo, the 2003 Carrera GT, and the 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder.

In addition, the DLC includes 10 new Porsche-themed Bucket List events and 15 achievements.

It sells at $10.00.

Capcom Co. this week said it will release Mega Man Legacy Collection.

The compilation will include 8-bit reproductions of Mega Man 1-6.

The final game will include a new Challenge Mode, Replays and Leaderboards.

Konami Corp. this month said it will release Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist this summer.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist is a trading card duel gamem that will include events from the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV series.

Modes include Story Campaign, Battle Pack Sealed and Draft Play against the AI or online users.

The final game will include more than 6,600 trading cards, add-on content, and additional Decks, Avatars, characters, and Duels.

It will be sold in the Playstation Network and Xbox Live at $19.99.

Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware ranked first in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 21,169 units between June 1 and June 7 to rank at No. 1 in overall sales.

It sold 17,713 units the week prior.

Splatoon ranked as the No. 1 software for the week selling 68,913 units.

Nintendo this week deployed Wii U Software Update 5.4.0 to hardware owners.

The is said to improve system stability.

The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 2 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Stella Glow ranked as the No. 4 best-selling software for the week selling 13,332.

Nintendo will release Hyrule Warriors for the Nintendo 3DS.

The 3DS version will add characters from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Hyrule Warriors features trademark playable characters including Link and Captain Impa on a quest to save Princess Zelda from the evil sorceress Cia.

Sega Corp. this week said it will release Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice to the Nintendo 3DS.

The third-person action adventure title will add new fire and ice elements to add new abilities and environmental interactions to each character.

The final game will include top-speed run through levels in addition to exploration levels.

Nintendo this week said the Nintendo 3DS has sold 15 million units in the U.S.

The hardware is the eight Nintendo hardware to sell at least 15 million units in the U.S.
