Capcom Co. this week said it will preview Resident Evil Zero for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC at E3 in Los Angeles next week.
The title will be demonstrated in playable form.
Resident Evil Zero, to be sold early 2016, was released to Nintendo Co.’s GameCube in 2002. It includes S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers and convict Billy Coen and introduced a partner zapping system to switch between both characters.
Resident Evil Zero director Koji Oda and additional staff are returning to develop the new remastered version.
Capcom in 2015 released the Resident Evil HD Remaster.
It has sold more than 1 million units to date.
The Resident Evil franchise has sold 61 million units worldwide to date.
