Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 11,489 units between May 11 and May 17 to rank No. 2 in overall hardware sales.

It sold 15,992 units the week prior.

Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster ranked as the No. 1 software for the week selling 15,913 units at launch.

CD Projekt RED this week released The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to U.S. retail.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt includes a world 35 times larger than The Witcher 2: Assassin’s of Kings.

Sony this week said the pre-order for God of War III Remastered to the Playstation 4 is now available at the Playstation Store.

Pre-order customers will receive the God of War – Fall of Olympus Dynamic Theme and free 90-day rentals for God of War and God of War II on Playstation Now.

God of War III Remastered, to be sold July 14, will feature remastered graphics at 1080 resolution, and an all-new Photo Mode to capture in-game action.

Activision Blizzard Inc. this week released the House of Wolves DLC for Destiny.

House of Wolves includes a new Awoken storyline, exclusive Raid, three new Crucible maps, new Fallen Strike, and hundreds of new weapons, armor, and gear.

Atlus Inc. this week released the Agito, Marco, and Nagi Tariler for Lost Dimension to the Playstation 3 and the PS Vita.

Lost Dimension, to be sold in the summer, is a turn-based tactical RPG in which users command a squad of physic warriors in the battlefield.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked at No. 6 in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox One sold 148 units between May 11 to May 17 to rank No. 6 in overall sales.

It sold 187 units the week prior.

Microsoft this week released the Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection Cirrus White Bundle to U.S. retail.

The bundle includes the Cirrus White Xbox One console, Cirrus White Wireless Controller and a digital download code for Halo: The Master Chief Collection at $349.99.

The company partnered with Hauppauge to release an over-the-air TV tuner for the Xbox One, which will allow owners to view local network broadcast channels.

EA Inc. this week said it will release Need for Speed this fall.

Developed by Ghost Games, Need for Speed is a reboot that will include customization, car culture, and an open world.

EA Inc. this week said it will release NHL 16 in Sept.

NHL 16 will include the EA Sports Hockey League online team mode, 6 vs. 6 online team play, and online couch co-op.

The final game will include an all-new Be The Pro progression system, commentary by Doc Emrick, Eddie Olczyk, and Ray Ferraro, and character customization options.

Xenoblade Chronicles X ranked as the No. 8 best-selling software for the week.

The title will be sold in physical and digital formats.

The Launch Edition will include premium packaging, wallet chain, and 19 AR cards.

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX is a 3D rhythm game that includes 48 full-length versions of fan-favorite songs.

Nintendo Co. this week said it will release Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon for the Nintendo 3DS this winter.

The title will include randomly created dungeons and battles with Legendary and Mythical Pokemon in a new adventure.

The ZE551ML 4GB SKU includes a 2.3Ghz Intel Atom Z3580 CPU, 5.5-inch FHD display, and 64 GB memory at $299.

The ZE551ML 2GB version with 1.8Ghz Intel Atom Z3560 CPU and 16GB memory sells at $199.

Both SKUs include a 13MP camera, 5MP front-facing camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop, and fast-charging functionality to recharge 60 percent battery in 39 minutes.

TCL Corp.’s Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 smartphone sold out at launch this week due to strong demand for the $250 smartphone.

On Thurs., the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 held a sold out status at the company website and Amazon.com.

The device subsequently returned to in-stock status at both websites.
