Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 46,395 units between Mar. 16 and Mar. 22 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 33,826 units the week prior.
The PS3 sold 6,352 units to rank at No. 5 in the same period.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD ranked as the No. 1 software for the week selling 92,094 units at launch.
The Resident Evil: Revelations 2 PS4 SKU ranked at No. 4 selling 42,358 units at launch.
Retailer Amazon.com Inc. this week began selling a bundle that includes Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 and Bloodborne.
The PS4 Bloodborne Bundle includes the PS4 500GB SKU, Bloodborne and The Last of Us Remastered and a $20 Gift Card at $399.99.
Sony this week released Bloodborne for the Playstation 4 to U.S. retail.
Bloodborne is a medieval action title developed by From Software and SCE Japan Studio.
The title includes fast-paced offensive combat with transforming weapons, character customization and progression, and online co-op functionality.
Sony this month said it will release God of War III Remastered to the Playstation 4 July 14.
The title will feature remastered graphics at 1080 resolution, and an all-new Photo Mode to capture in-game action.
Sony this week released Firmware v2.50 for the Playstation 4.
Firmware v2.50 includes the new Suspend/Resume function, Back-up and Restore HDD to USB function, new Facebook, Friend, and Party functionality, option to Share Earned Trophies and Optimize Trophies List, Added Accessibility Options, 60 frames-per-second Remote Play and Share Play, and an Auto-Install System Software Updates option.
Sony this week released the America’s Digital Pastime Trailer for MLB 15 The Show for the Playstation 4.
The trailer features gameplay from the final game.
MLB 15 The Show will include Year-to-Year Saves to transfer PS4, PS3, and PS Vita data from MLB 14: The Show to continue Franchise and Road to the Show progress.
SNK Playmore Corp. this week released Metal Slug 3 to Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and the PS Vita.
Metal Slug 3, released in 2000, is a run-and-gun action shooter that included a branching path system and new Slug vehicles.
The final game features online play, Cross-Play, Cross-Save, and Trophies functionality.
It sells at $14.99.
Idea Factory International Inc. this week released the PVS Trailer for Omega Quintet for the Playstation 4.
The trailer previews the PVS, Promotional Video System, to create live performances.
Omega Quintet, to be sold Apr. 28, is a RPG idol simulation title in which control an idol group to perform and build up music attacks to battle evil.

Microsoft this week released Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious for the Xbox One.
Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious is stand-alone expansion that includes 11 vehicles from the Fast & Furious films including vehicles from Furious 7.
Each completed challenge will allow users to unlock cars to drive in free roam play.
The final game featureas Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker to source vehicles for the mission.
Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious will be available to download free through Apr. 10. The download will subsequently sell at $10.
EA Inc. this week released the Jaws of Hakkon DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition for the Xbox One and the PC.
Jaws of Hakkon is a lost chapter in the history of the Inquisition that tells the story of the last Inquisitor and the dragon he hunted.

The trailer is a teaser that can be slowed down to discover clues about the fate of Master Chief.

Nintendo this week said it will delay the release of The Legend of Zelda for Wii U past 2015.
The company cited additional development time for the delay. In addition, it the title will not be previewed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in May.
The Legend of Zelda is an open world RPG that will include trademark franchise features including action-based combat, Sailcloth gliding, and horseback travel and combat with Epona.
Nintendo this week detailed new multiplayer modes in Splatoon for Wii U.
Turf War, the main online mode, is a four vs. four team-based multiplayer mode in which each user will gain level and earn in-game currency to customize their player.
Ranked Battle is a multiplayer mode that will keep track of each user’s online ranking. Splat Zones is a Ranked Battle mode that allows users to control territory of specific areas with ink blasts. Users must achieve level 10 in Turf War in order to access Splat Zones.
Finally, the single-player mode will allow users to explore the underground base of the enemy Octarians in specific single-player levels.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 32,088 units between Mar. 9 and Mar. 13 to rank as the No. 1 game hardware for the week.
The hardware sold 33,950 units the week prior.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask ranked as the No. 15 software for the week, selling 392,553 units to date.
Atlus Inc. this week released the Fate System Trailer for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker for Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS.
The trailer previews the Fate System to build relationships with characters and deepen bonds to nurture their fate and subsequently gain advantages in battle.
