Microsoft Corp. this week debriefed new features for the Xbox One app on Windows 10.

New features include Game Clips, Activity Feed, User Profile, Friend Search, Improved Window Sizing, Connect to Xbox One to remote control the console from the app, One Guide and Universal Remote Control functionality, and the option to view recently played Xbox Live games.

The Xbox app on Windows 10 will allow Xbox One owners to stream their game directly from an Xbox One to a Windows 10 PC or tablet device.

In addition to streaming, the Xbox One app will allow Xbox One owners and PC users to facilitate cross-platform chats, browse activity feeds and share video clips to Xbox Live and other networks.

For the quarter ended Dec. 31, Xbox platform revenue decreased to $703 million or 10 percent in total console volume.

The company cited the transition from Xbox 360 to Xbox One with lower prices compared to the year prior and lower revenue from second and third-party video games and accessories.
