Nintendo Co. this week said disclosed regional amiibo sales for each figure released to U.S. retail.

Top-sellers in the U.S. include Link, Mario, Pikachu, Marth, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer.

Amiibo figures have sold 5.7 million units in global territories since launch in Nov. 2014.

amiibo is a new line of NFC-enabled toy figures that can transfer the character and respective data to the Wii U GamePad.

Wave 1 includes Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Samus, Yoshi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Marth, Wii Fit Trainer, Fox, and Villager.

Wave 2 includes Luigi, Zelda, Little Mac, Captain Falco, Pit, and Diddy Kong.

Wave 3, to be sold in Feb., includes Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Toon Link, Ike, Sheik, Bowser, King Dedede, Shulk, Lucario, Meta Knight, Rosalina and Luma.

Compatible titles include Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, and Mario Party 10.
