Nintendo Co. this week said the new Nintendo 3DS XL has sold more than 175,000 units at launch at U.S. retail.

The sales figure is based on the first two days of sale for the hardware, which launched Feb. 13.

The new Nintendo 3DS XL includes a 4.88-inch screen and up to seven hours of battery life.

In addition, it features a new C-stick for camera controls, new ZL and ZR buttons, new Super-Stable 3D functionality to provide a more comfortable 3D experience, and new NFC technology to support amiibo figurines.

The hardware is sold in Red and Black at $199.99 each.
