Sony Corp. this week said it is working to restore the Playstation Network after an outage that began Dec. 25.
The company said it is working to restore services for all platforms, which include the Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PS Vita.
In addition, it acknowledged that engineers were working to resolve network issues, including user login.
By Dec. 26, it said PSN services were gradually coming back online.
On Dec. 25, the Playstation Network incurred an outage that prevented users from logging into the service.
Sony said it sold 3.5 million Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 hardware units combined in the Q1 2014.
The Games and Network Services division held a profit of $41.8 million in the quarter.
