Sony Corp. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. this week said the Playstation Now streaming service will be available on select Samsung Smart TVs in the first half of 2015.

The service will launch as an application that can be accessed via Samsung’s Smart Hub. The app will support all service functionality including in-game trophies, play games online, and save game progress in the cloud.

Playstation Now is a cloud-based streaming gaming service that will allow users to access a back catalog of Playstation 3 titles on the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, PS Vita, and the Playstation TV.

The Playstation Now service includes more than 150 titles including God of War: Ascension, Infamous, and Ultra Street Fighter IV.

Usage includes continuous play of PS Now games between the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. In addition, consumers can rent titles or purchase a subscription to play PS Now titles.
