Target Corp. this week began price cut Nintendo Co.’s Super Mario 3D World Wii U Deluxe Bundle by $50 in a new retail initiative.
This week, customers can purchase the Super Mario 3D World Wii U Deluxe Bundle at $249.99, $50 off the $299.99 MSRP.
The Wii U Deluxe Set with Super Mario 3D World includes the 32GB Wii U console and Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land.
Between July and Sept., Nintendo reported a net profit of $224 million compared to a $74 million loss one year prior.
The Wii U sold 610,000 units in the period, more than double the 300,000 units sold one year earlier.
The console has sold 7.29 million units to date worldwide.
The company plans to sell 3.6 million Wii U consoles this fiscal year.
