Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 20th Anniversary Edition sold out this month post pre-order sale of the limited edition hardware.
The company began pre-order sales Dec. 6 and sold out immediately at the Sony Store online division.
A total of 12,300 units were available for pre-order Dec. 6 at $499.99.
The Playstation 4 20th Anniversary Edition will feature an original grey color akin to the Playstation. In addition, the Dualshock 4 Controller will feature color-coded Playstation buttons. The bundle will also include a matching vertical stand and the Playstation Camera.
Sony this week said it will sell the Playstation 4 and the PS Vita in China Jan. 11, 2015.
The PS4 CUH-1000 series will be sold at 2,899 RMB and the PS Vita PCH-2000 series will be sold at 1,299 RMB.
Sony this week released the Gameplay Trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for o the Playstation 4.
The trailer features trademark action adventure gameplay from a watery cavern to a mountainous jungle.

Activision Blizzard Inc. this released The Dark Below DLC for Destiny.
The Dark Below is the first expansion to the title and includes new story quests and missions, new co-op activities, three multiplayer Crucible arenas, and new weapons, armor, and gear.
In addition, light level cap is increased to 32 from 30 and Bounty slots increase to 10 from five.
Playstation owners will receive the exclusive Strike mission that takes place in The Black Garden.
Square Enix Holdings Co. this month said it will release Final Fantasy VII to the Playstation 4 in spring 2015.
The release will be a port of the PC release.
Bethesda Softworks this week said it will release The Assignment DLC for The Evil Within in early 2015.
The Assignment is the part one of a two-part DLC that centers on Juli Kidman.

The developer cited additional development time for the 12-week delay.

Aksys Games this week said it will release Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Limited Edition SKU to the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 Dec. 23.
The standard edition will be sold Dec. 16.
Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is a 2D fighting title that will include enhanced fighting mechanics, an expanded Roman Cancel, and new characters.
The final game is developed by Arc Systems Works and utilizes the Unreal 3 engine.
