Microsoft Corp. this week said the Xbox One ranked as the No. 1 hardware in the U.S. and the U.K. in Nov. retail sales.
The company said the Xbox One set a new record for sales during the month.
The hardware was heavily promoted in the U.S. during the Black Friday shopping period, with Xbox One bundles discounted to as low as $329 with additional gift card incentives.
In Nov., Microsoft price cut all Xbox One hardware and bundles by $50.
The Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle sells at $349.00.
In the fourth quarter, Microsoft shipped 1.1 million units of Xbox hardware. Xbox revenue increased 14 percent to $104 million from the year prior.
In Nov., the company said the Xbox One had sold 10 million units to global retail.
