Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 13,489 units between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30 to rank No. 3 in overall hardware sales.

It sold 12,430 units the week prior.

The PS3 sold 5,360 units to rank at No. 5 in the same period.

Capcom Co.’s Resident Evil HD Remaster ranked as the No. 5 best-selling software for the week selling 50,258 units.

Sony this week said it will sell the Playstation 4 20th Anniversary Edition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Playstation brand.

The Playstation 4 20th Anniversary Edition will feature an original grey color akin to the Playstation. In addition, the Dualshock 4 Controller will feature color-coded Playstation buttons. The bundle will also include a matching vertical stand and the Playstation Camera.

A total of 12,300 units will be available for pre-order Dec. 6 at $499.99.

Capcom Co. this week released the Second Trailer for Resident Evil Revelations 2 to Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC.

The trailer features Barry Burton in a search for Moira Burton in an abandoned detention facility.

In Resident Evil Revelations 2 will veteran Claire Redfield and Moira Burton, the daughter of Barry Burton from Resident Evil, are abducted in an abandoned detention facility and face new Afflicted enemies.

Capcom Co. this week said it will release Street Fighter V exclusively to the Playstation 4 and the PC.

A teaser trailer featured Ryu and Chun-Li in battle with updated 3D character models against a lively night street level.

Capcom in Sept. released the Omega Mode to Ultra Street Fighter IV.

Activision Blizzard Inc. this week released details for the Destiny: The Dark Below DLC for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3.

Playstation exclusive content includes The Undying Mind Strike Mission on Mars and The 4th Horseman Shotgun.

The Dark Below, to be sold Dec. 9 is the first expansion to the title and includes new story quests and missions, new co-op activities, three multiplayer Crucible arenas, and new weapons, armor, and gear.

Sony this week released the System Software Update v2.03 for the .

System Software Update v2.03 is said to improve usage of some applications.

SNK Playmore Corp. this week said it will release Metal Slug 3 to the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and the PS Vita.

The release is in partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment America 3rd Party Productions to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Neo Geo AES home hardware and MVS coin-op.

Square Enix Holdings Co. this week released Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX for the Playstation 3.

The title includes Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded with remastered cinematics in high-definition graphics and audio.

It sells at $39.99.

Konami Corp. this week said it will release Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Digital Version for the Playstation 3 Dec. 16.

The title will be sold at $19.99.

Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patriots, released in 2008, features non-linear stages, the remote-controlled Mk. II droid, the OctoCamo camouflage system, and enhanced Close Quarters Combat.

Sales for the Playstation Vita ranked as the No. 2 video game hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month said the PS Vita sold 29,220 units between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30 to rank as the No. 2 hardware for the week.

By comparison, the hardware sold 19,976 units the week prior.

Sega Corp.’s Phantasy Star Nova ranked as the No. 2 software for the week.

Meanwhile, the PSP sold 18 units to rank at No. 8 in the same period.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One hardware ranked as the No. 6 hardware at launch in Japan.

Corporate Lockdown includes three new challenge maps in Survivor Mode – Reoperation, Crawl Space, and Overrun. It features Sevastopol medical officer Dr. Lingard in an effort to destroy data and aid survivors.

It sells at $7.99.

Future DLC includes Safe Haven, Lost Contact, and The Trigger.

Ubisoft Inc. this week released The Crew.

The Crew is a persistent online world to allow users to play four-player co-op in every race, enter in timed challenges, or drive in distant open-world locations across the U.S.

Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware ranked fourth in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 12,496 units between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30 to rank at No. 4 in overall sales.

It sold 9,615 units the week prior.

Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Nintendo this week released the Gameplay Trailer for The Legend of Zelda for Wii U.

The trailer previews a large open world, horseback combat, and map functionality with the Wii U GamePad.

The Legend of Zelda, to be sold in 2015, is an open world RPG that will include trademark franchise features including action-based combat, Sailcloth gliding, and horseback travel and combat with Epona.

Nintendo this week released Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for the Wii U to U.S. retail.

The 3D puzzle title allows users to rotate a three-dimensional block to solve puzzles at all angles.

Nintendo this week released NES Remix Pack for the Wii U to U.S. retail.

NES Remix Pack includes rapid-fire, skill, and high score challenges from more than 25 classic NES games.

Sega this week released the Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric demo for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U to the Nintendo eShop.

The demo is available to download at no cost.

The hardware sold 88,653 units the week prior.

Pokemon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire ranked as the No. 1 software for the week. The titles have sold 1.62 million units in the region to date.

Nintendo this week released Ultimate NES Remix for the Nintendo 3DS to U.S. retail.

Ultimate NES Remix features challenges and mash-ups from 16 Nintendo 8-bit titles.

The final game includes 8-bit challenges, retro Nintendo games, and challenges from NES Remix 2.
