System Software Update v2.0, released in Oct., includes YouTube support to upload captured videos to the service, USB Music Player to play music from a USB flash drive, Theme color change options, an improved Content Area, and enhanced voice commands.
In addition, the update includes Share Play to allow two Playstation Plus members to share the screen with a friend, pass the controller to each other online, or have a friend join in as player two in a co-op title without the requirement to own the game.
The PS4 hardware utilizes a PC-like architecture with a x86-based AMD Jaguar 8-core CPU, a 1.84 TLFOPS AMD next-generation Radeon GPU, and GDDR5 8GB RAM. In addition, the hardware features a 6X Blu-ray disc drive, USB 3.0 interface, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI, and digital output.
