Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware ranked fourth in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.
Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 14,002 units between Nov. 10 and Nov. 16 to rank at No. 4 in overall sales.
It sold 4,787 units the week prior.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker ranked as the No. 7 best-selling software for the week selling 28,025 units at launch.
Between July and Sept., Nintendo reported a net profit of $224 million compared to a $74 million loss one year prior.
The Wii U sold 610,000 units in the period, more than double the 300,000 units sold one year earlier.
The console has sold 7.29 million units to date worldwide.
The company plans to sell 3.6 million Wii U consoles this fiscal year.
