343 Studios this week said Microsoft Corp.’s Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta will run at 720p resolution at 60 frames-per-second.

The developer added it is not the final resolution for the game.

Halo 5 Guardians BThe Multiplayer Beta will run between Dec. 29, 2014 and Jan. 18, 2015. It will feature 4 vs. 4 combat in seven maps and three game types.

Customers who purchase Halo: The Master Chief Collection will receive access to the Multiplayer Beta.

Halo 5: Guardians is the next installment of the franchise to include Master Chief.

It is said to be larger than Halo 4, run at a 60 frames-per-second graphics fidelity, and feature dedicated servers.

The Xbox One standard hardware sells at $399.00.
