U.S. retailers this week price cut Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One by $50 at U.S. retail in advance of a scheduled holiday promotion.

This week, Amazon.com Inc. and Best Buy Co. Inc. price cut all Xbox One hardware and bundles by $50.

The Xbox One standard edition without Kinect now sells at $349.00.

The Xbox One price cut will be active at major U.S. retailers Nov. 2.

In addition, the Xbox One Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle sells at $349.00, Xbox One Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle is $399.00, and Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle sells at $349.00.

The Xbox One and Xbox 360 sold 2.4 million units combined in the first quarter.

The platform was launched to 28 markets in the period.

In addition, Xbox platform revenue increased 58 percent from the year prior due to higher console sales.
