Microsoft Corp. this week said it will price cut the Xbox One by $50 at U.S. retail this holiday.

Beginning Nov. 2, the Xbox One standard edition without Kinect will sell at $349.00.

In addition, the Xbox One Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle and Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle will be sold at $349.00 each, and the Xbox One Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle will sell at $399.00.

The Xbox One and Xbox 360 sold 2.4 million units combined in the first quarter.

The platform was launched to 28 markets in the period.

In addition, Xbox platform revenue increased 58 percent from the year prior due to higher console sales.
