Bandai Namco Games Inc. this month said it will distribute Project Cars to Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One, and the PC in Mar. 2015.
The title was previously scheduled to be sold Nov. 18.
The delay is said to move the title out of the competitive holiday season and allow the developer additional time to polish the game.
Developed by Slightly Mad Studios, Project Cars is crowd-funded racing title that includes driver customization, motorsport selection, multiplayer online functionality, dynamic weather system, and tuning and pit stop functionality.
The final game will include support for Occulus Rift and Project Morpheus.
The version for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U will be sold in 2015.
