Microsoft Corp. this week released the Xbox One console in Japan.

The stand-alone hardware sells at 39,970 yen ($381 U.S.) and includes a copy of Titanfall.

The Xbox One and Xbox 360 shipped 1.1 million units to retail in the fourth quarter.

Between Apr. to June the company shipped 1.1 million units of Xbox hardware. Xbox revenue increased 14 percent to $104 million from the year prior.

The Xbox One standard edition without Kinect, is sold at $399.00.

The Xbox One has sold five million units to retailers in global markets.

The Xbox One features an 8-core AMD CPU, Radeon GPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.
