Microsoft Corp. this week said it will sell the Kinect sensor for the Xbox One Oct. 7 at $149.99.

The stand-alone sensor will include Dance Central Spotlight.

The Xbox One standard edition without Kinect, is sold at $399.00.

Microsoft held earnings of $5.66 billion on revenue of $20.4 billion in the third quarter ending Mar. 31, 2014.

Between Apr. to June the company shipped 1.1 million units of Xbox hardware. Xbox revenue increased 14 percent to $104 million from the year prior.

The Xbox One has sold five million units to retailers in global markets.
