Nintendo Co. this week said it will released a new update to Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U.
The update includes a new map display on the TV, improved online stability, new records screen, and three free Mercedes-Benz karts – the GLA, the 300 SL Roadster, and the Silver Arrow.
Mario Kart 8 includes vehicle transformations that allow each kart to race through anti-gravity tracks. The final game will allow users to drive against the wall, paraglide after a jump, and cruise underwater.
New characters include Rosalina, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and all seven Koopalings.
Mario Kart 8 has sold 2.82 million copies worldwide to date.
