Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.
Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 41,045 units between Aug. 4 and Aug. 10 to rank as the No. 1 game hardware for the week.
The hardware sold 38,759 units the week prior.
It ranked six titles in the top 10, including Dragon Ball Heroes 2: Ultimate Mission at No. 2, Senran Kagura 2 at No. 3, Yoshi’s New Island at No. 5.
For the fiscal quarter ended June 30, Nintendo held a $97 million loss.
In addition, the Nintendo 3DS handheld sold 820,000 units in the quarter, a decline from 1.4 million units one year ago.
