Activision Blizzard Inc. this week detailed the multiplayer component for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC.
Multiplayer movement options include Boost Dash, Boost Dodge, Boost Slide, and Boost Slam for tactical mobility.
The Pick 13 loadout option will offer enhanced character customization, including score streaks.
Supply Drops will offer new equipment to players based on time of play.
Multiplayer maps include Defender, which takes place in San Francisco and features a tsunami event, and Ascend, a vertical-based elevator shaft. New modes include Uplink, in which two teams fight for control of satellite drones. Previous modes include Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and Capture The Flag.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, to be sold Nov. 4, will include future-based battlegrounds and tactics.
New player movement includes boost jumps, grappling and covert cloaking. New equipment includes a class of directed-energy weaponry, exoskeletons, drones, and hover bikes.
The final game will feature Kevin Spacey as Jonathan Irons, the head of a Private Military Corporation.
Pre-order customers will receive Day Zero Edition for 24-hour early access, Double XP on Nov. 3, two additional weapons, and Advanced Arsenal.
