Microsoft Corp. this week price cut first-party Xbox One titles to $49.99 in a permanent price reduction initiative.
Titles now available at $49.99 include Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, and Ryse: Son of Rome.
The price cut is in effect at U.S. retail and the Xbox Games Store.
Between Apr. to June, Microsoft shipped 1.1 million units of Xbox hardware. Xbox revenue increased 14 percent to $104 million from the year prior.
The Xbox One standard edition without Kinect, is sold at $399.00.
