Target Corp. this week began offering a $50 Bonus with the purchase of Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One in a new hardware initiative.

This week, customers who purchase the Xbox One without Kinect at $399 will receive a $50 Gift Card at no cost.

Microsoft held earnings of $5.66 billion on revenue of $20.4 billion in the third quarter ending Mar. 31, 2014.

The Xbox One sold 1.2 million units in the fiscal third quarter ending Mar. 31, 2014.

The company sold two million Xbox One and Xbox 360 units combined in the period.

The Devices and Consumer division, which includes the Xbox platform, held $8.3 billion in revenue, a 12 percent increase from the year prior.

The Xbox One has sold five million units to retailers in global markets.

The Xbox One features an 8-core AMD CPU, Radeon GPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.
