Nintendo Co.’s Hyrule Warriors to the Wii U ranked in the top 30 pre-order sales at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s online division this week due to building demand.
This week, Hyrule Warriors ranked as the No. 26 best-selling pre-order product at Walmart.com’s Video Games division.
The stage structure will be similar to prior Dynasty Warriors titles in which users must defend or reclaim areas by fighting hordes of enemies.
Developed by Tecmo Koei Holdings Co., Hyrule Warriors will be based on the Dynasty Warriors franchise and feature Link in large-scale battles.
The final game will include unlockable characters, moves, weapon types, and two-player co-op functionality via parallel usage of the Wii U GamePad and TV.
