Sony Corp. this week released Intercept, a new DLC that adds online co-op functionality to Killzone: Shadow Fall for the Playstation 4.
Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept is a brand new four-player online co-op mode in which users band together to form the VSA team Intelligence Squad Alpha.
Character classes include Assault, Marksman, Medic and Tactician.
The expansion is sold at $9.99 and included free for Season Pass holders. A stand-alone version of the expansion will be sold in Aug. at $19.99.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is set thirty years after the events of the Killzone trilogy.
The two rival factions of the Helghast and the Vektans live side by side in a futuristic city, divided by a vast wall. A Shadow Marshall must maintain the balance between the two former enemies.
The final game includes standard shooting and infiltration missions.
Killzone: Shadow Fall has sold more than 2.1 million units at global retail.
