Bethesda Softworks’ Wolfenstein: The New Order for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC held top five software sales in new May U.S. retail data.
NPD Group Inc. this week said Wolfenstein: The New Order ranked as the No. 4 best-selling software across all platforms in May.
Developed by MachineGames, the single-player action adventure title includes B.J. Blazkowicz in an alternate version of the 1960’s to battle high-tech Nazi legions.
The final game utilizes the id Software’s id Tech 5 engine.
