Amazon.com Inc. this week began pre-order sales for the Amazon Fire Phone.
The first smartphone designed by Amazon, to be sold July 25, features new Dynamic Perspective technology to tilt images and view in a 3D perspective, Firefly technology to identify printed web, email addresses, phone numbers and codes, and Mayday for live on-screen support.
In addition, the phone features a 4.7-inch HD screen, 2.2Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera, and GPS functionality.
The Fire Phone 32GB SKU is sold with contract at $199 or without contract at $649.
The 64GB SKU is sold with contract at $299 and without contract at $749.
