Nintendo Co. this week demonstrated Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
The preview build included a range of combatants, including Mario, Marth, the Wii Fit Trainer, Little Mac, Mega Man, Pikachu, Samus and Link.
The kiosk utilized GameCube controllers to relay perfect controls akin to Super Smash Bros. Melee. Controls were exact to prior titles including the main attack button, special attack, jump, dash, and guard options.
The graphics engine held solid at 60 frames-per-second. Smash characters, effects and backgrounds held a crisp, solid build without any slowdown.
Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U will be sold holiday 2014.
