Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 6,508 units between May 26 and June 1 to rank No. 5 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 7,543 units at launch the week prior.

The PS3 sold 6,922 units to rank at No. 4 in the same period.

EA Inc. this week released the ‘Into The Jungle’ Trailer for Battlefield Hardline.
The trailer features a cinematic introduction to the cops vs. robbers first-person action title.
Developed by Visceral Games, Battlefield Hardline is a first-person action title set against the backdrop of the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.
The final game will include single-player and multiplayer online functionality.
Ubisoft Inc. this week said Watch Dogs has sold through four million units to consumers in the first week of sale.
The company previously said Watch Dogs sold more copies in the first 24 hours of sale than any other title in the company’s history.

NIS America Inc. this week said it will release Danganronpa 2: Goodby Despair for the Playstation Vita Sept. 2.
It will be sold in Europe Sept. 5.
In the title, elite students from Hope’s Peak are brought to Jabberwock Island and are subsequently trapped in a murderous game by Monokuma.
The final game will include all-new mini games in the Class Trial to shoot down inconsistent testimony and time and reflex-based systems to pin down the culprit.
The title will be sold at retail and in digital format.

The Xbox 360 SKU will be developed by Sumo Digital and utilize the Forza Horizon engine.
The final game will be set in Southern Europe and feature a range of vehicles, including the Lamborghini Huracán.
Crytek Inc. and Deep Silver this week said it will release Homefront: The Revolution to the PS4, Xbox One and the PC in 2015.
Homefront: The Revolution is an open world first-person shooter in which a civilian turned freedom fighter must lead the resistance toward the Second American Revolution.
The final game will include four-player co-op functionality to work together and overthrow the regime.
Microsoft in May released the Bondurant Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One.
The Bondurant Car Pack includes 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray featuring a Bondurant-branded livery, the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed, the 2013 Mazda MX-5 Cup, and the 1980 Abarth Fiat 131v.
It sells at $9.99.
Capcom Co. this week released Ultra Street Fighter IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The DLC is sold via the Playstation Network and Xbox Live at $14.99.
The PS3 and Xbox 360 full retail SKUs will be sold Aug. 5. In addition, the DLC and full retail SKU for the PC will be sold Aug. 8. The full retail SKU will carry an MSRP of $39.99.
Ultra Street Fighter IV is a DLC that adds five new fighters including Rolento, Poison, Hugo, Elena, and Decapre for a total of 44 characters.
Bandai Namco Games America Inc. this week said it will release The Lost Crowns Trilogy DLC for Dark Souls II.
The three DLC chapters include Crown of the Sunken King to be sold July 22, Crown of the Old Iron King to be sold Aug. 26, and Crown of the Ivory King Sept. 24.
In addition, a Season Pass option will be available via Steam for PC owners.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is a standalone title set between Borderlands and Borderlands 2. The title will feature Handsome Jack and take place on Pandora’s moon in standard and anti-gravity gunfights.

The trailer features the Batmobile combat options including a Cannon, Vulcan Gun and Missile Barrage.
Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham Knight is the finale to the Arkham series. The title will feature trademark villains, including The Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn.

The fighting title is said to utilize new next-generation hardware and include multiple fight mechanics per character.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 19,312 units between May 26 and June 1 to rank at No. 2 in overall sales.

Mario Kart 8 ranked as the No. 1 software title for the week selling 325,892 units at launch.
Nintendo Co. this week said Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U sold 1.2 million copies in the first weekend of sale in global markets.
The title is now the fastest-selling Wii U game to date.
Nintendo this week deployed Wii U Software Update 5.0.0 to hardware owners.
The update offers a Quick Start Menu when users press the GamePad Power Button or Home Button to power the Wii U, GamePad Alert notifications, Wii U System Update auto download in Standby, Wii Menu changes, System Settings changes, Home Menu changes, and improvements to system stability and usability.
Nintendo this week said it will release Wii Sports Club for the Wii U to U.S. retail July 25.
The retail SKU will include all five sports for $39.99.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Inc. this week released the Gear Up for Battle Trailer for Gauntlet for the PC.
The trailer features gameplay and customization options from the final game.
Developed by Arrowhead Studios, Gauntlet is a reboot of the arcade classic that will include trademark characters the Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie, and Elf.
The title will include four-player co-op functionality and fantasy-based monsters, including ghosts, grunts, demons, spiders, sorcerers, and skeleton warriors.
It will be sold this summer.
Crytek Inc. this week said will release Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age to consoles and the PC this fall.
Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age is a third-person co-op free-to-play action title.
Set in the late 1800s, hunters equip arms and venture into deadly territories.
The final game will include randomly generated content and boss battles.
A closed beta for the PC will deploy later this year.
Capcom Co. this week said it will release Dead Rising 3 to the PC and Steam this summer.
The title will include optimized PC resolution support, and upgraded character, background, and in-game object textures.
