Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 23,600 units between May 12 and May 18 to rank as the No. 1 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 35,943 units the week prior.

It ranked seven titles in the top 10, including Yo-Kai Watch at No. 3, Mario Golf: World Tour at No. 4 and Kirby Triple Deluxe at No. 9.

In the fourth quarter, Nintendo held a loss of 46.4 billion yen ($456 million).

The Nintendo 3DS sold 12.2 million units, below the 13.5 million forecast in Jan. The hardware has sold 43 million units worldwide to date.
