Retailer Target Corp. this week price cut Crytek Inc.’s Ryse: Son of Rome for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One to under $40 in a new game sale
Ryse: Son of Rome features Marius Titus on a campaign to avenge the death of his family.
Other characters include Vitallion, a Roman general and mentor to Marius, and Nero, emperor of Rome and father to controllers of Brittania Commodus and Basillius.
The final game includes close-quarters combat, epic battle sequences, and Kinect functionality to command troops in battle.
The Xbox One standard edition without Kinect, to be released June 9, will be sold at $399.00.
The hardware was previously sold only with the Kinect sensor at $499.99.
