Microsoft Corp. this week said it will offer access to entertainment applications to all Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners in June.

Popular entertainment apps include Netflix, HBO GO, Red Bull TV, NFL app for Xbox One, MLB.TV, NBA Game Time, and NHL Game Center.

The applications previously required an Xbox Live Gold membership.

The Xbox One and Xbox 360 sold two million units in the third quarter.

The Devices and Consumer division, which includes the Xbox platform, held $8.3 billion in revenue, a 12 percent increase from the year prior.
