Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 12,712 units between Apr. 21 and Apr. 27 to rank No. 3 in overall hardware sales.
It sold 14,396 units at launch the week prior.
The PS3 sold 6,726 units to rank at No. 4 in the same period.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn ranked as the No. 15 best-selling software for the week.
Sony this week released System Software Update v1.70 for the Playstation 4.
The new update adds the SHAREfactory video editor and option to export and save videos and screenshots to a USB drive.
In addition, the update includes an HDCP off function to capture gameplay via HDMI.
Sony this week said DriveClub for Playstation 4 will be sold Oct. 8.
The title was previously delayed from launch due to required development time.
The PS Plus Edition, to be offered at no cost to Playstation Plus members, will include five tracks in one country and 10 vehicles.

Zombie Studios this week released Daylight for the Playstation 4 and the PC.
In Daylight, users wake up inside an abandoned hospital and must use the light on their cellphone to guide them through the environment. The phone will subsequently be used to map environments and as a communications device.
The first-person survival title features randomly generate level layouts and item locations.
Aksys Games this week said it will release Arcana Heart 3: Love Max!!!!! to the Playstation 3 and the PS Vita in fall 2014.
Arcana Heart 3: Love Max!!!!! is a 2D fighting title that includes 23 combatants that can be combined with 23 various celestial beings to alter stats and abilities.
XSEED Games this week said it will release the demo for Ragnorok Odyssey Ace for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita May 13th.
In addition, free DLC content will be released May 6 and May 13 via the Playstation Store.

NIS America Inc. this week said it will release Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 for the Playstation Vita in physical and digital retail in the U.S. and digital only in Europe in late summer.
The title is a remake of Hyperdimension Neptunia previously released to the Playstation 3 to include renewed event conversations, graphics and newly added game mechanics, and a new ending.
