Microsoft Corp. this week said Xbox One usage has increased post release of the Twitch application for the console.

The company said more than 23 million minutes have been broadcast from Twitch for Xbox One since launch Mar. 10.

Titanfall is the most broadcast game on Twitch with 10 million minutes streamed from the game to date.

Twitch allows users to capture and live broadcast game sessions.

In addition, Twitch functionality allows users to live stream their game session using the popular social infrastructure.

The final application offers voice command functionality

The Xbox One has sold 3.9 million units in global markets.

Microsoft held earnings of $6.56 billion on revenue of $24.52 billion in the second quarter ending Dec. 31, 2013.

The Devices and Consumer division, which includes the Xbox platform, held $1.9 billion in revenue, a 68 percent increase from the year prior.

The Xbox One features an 8-core AMD CPU, Radeon GPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.

It sells at $499.99.
