Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4 ranked as the No. 3 hardware in Japan in the latest data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported the PS4 sold 30,201 units between Mar. 17 to Mar. 23 to rank No. 1 in overall hardware sales.

It sold 29,677 units at launch the week prior.

The PS3 sold 15,455 units to rank at No. 4 in the same period.

Tecmo Koei America Corp. this week released the trailer for Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition for the Playstation 4 and the PS Vita.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition is a stand-alone expansion of Dynasty Warriors 8 that includes new episodes, 82 characters, expanded Ambition Mode, Challenge Mode, and enhanced Free Mode.

Sony this week said FEZ is now available for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and PS Vita.

FEZ is a puzzle platform title that allows users to turn the entire level to view multiple perspectives and solve puzzles.

It sells at $12.99 and $9.99 for Playstation Plus members when purchased before Apr. 2.

Ubisoft Inc. this month said it will release Assassin’s Creed Unity to the Playstation 4, Xbox One and the PC.

The next-generation stealth action title is said to take place in the French Revolution.

The publisher released a short teaser trailer in conjunction with the announcement.

It will be released holiday 2014.

DICE and EA Inc. this week released Battlefield 4 Naval Strike for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 to Battlefield Premium Members.

It will be sold to all Battlefield players Apr. 8.

Naval Strike includes water-based combat in four all-new maps set in the South China Sea, including Lost Islands, Wave Breaker, Nansha Strike, Operation Mortar.

Aksys Games this week released the BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma to the Playstation 3.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma includes new and redesigned characters, 30-hour story mode, traditional BlazBlue modes, and networking functionality for online battles.

The standard SKU sells at $49.99 and the Limited Edition SKU includes a 40-page artbook, soundtrack CD, small figurine of Rachel Alucard and a bonus fourth item at $79.99.

Sega this week said it will release Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd to Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and the PS Vita.

The rhythm-based title features 40 tracks, four difficulties per track, Edit Mode to create custom videos and Rhythm games, and the option to share custom videos and games online.

Hatsune Miku is a digital singer created by Cryton Future Media, Inc.

NIS America Inc. this week said it will release Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 for the Playstation Vita in the U.S. and Europe this summer.

The title is a remake of Hyperdimension Neptunia previously released to the Playstation 3 to include renewed event conversations, graphics and newly added game mechanics, and a new ending.

Finally, the title will include additional characters through DLC, an increase level cap to 999, additional monsters, quests and dungeons.

Sales for the Playstation Vita ranked as the No. 2 video game hardware in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month said the PS Vita sold 37,128 units between Mar. 17 and Mar. 23 to rank as the No. 2 hardware for the week.

By comparison, the hardware sold 29,719 units the week prior.

The hardware ranked two titles in the top 10 software sales for the week, J-Stars Victory Vs at No. 5 and Samurai Warriors 4 at No. 9.

Meanwhile, the PSP sold 3,563 units to rank at No. 6 in the same period.

Sony this week released Destiny of Spirits for the Playstation Vita.

The title is a free-to-play, location-based social strategy game in which global users cooperate to battle Chaos spirits.

The final game allows users to trade spirits and obtain select spirits available only in certain regions.

Sony this week said Capcom Co.’s Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for the PS Vita is now available free to Playstation Plus members at the Playstation Network.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite includes 500 hours of gameplay, 1400 weapons and 2000 armor sets.

The final game include four-player co-op through Ad Hoc play and the option to transfer data from Monster Hunter Freedom 2.

Sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 hardware ranked No. 7 units in Japan in the latest retail data from the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Xbox 360 sold 288 units between Mar. 17 to Mar. 23 to rank No. 7 in overall sales.

By comparison, the hardware sold 278 units the week prior.

Microsoft this week released the Top Gear Car Pack to Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One.

The Top Gear Car Pack includes ten cars, including the bonus 2013 Holden #10 Xbox Racing Team Commodore VF at $9.99.

Buyers can purchase individual cars a la carte via the Xbox Live marketplace.

Developed by Turn 10 Studios, Forza Motorsport 5 is racing simulation title.

Best Buy Co. Inc. this week price cut Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox One Titanfall Bundle at its online division post launch of the product.

This week, the Xbox One Titanfall Bundle sells at $449.99, $50 off the $499.99 MSRP.

The bundle includes the Xbox One Console, Kinect Sensor, Headset, 1-Month Xbox Live Code, and Titanfall Game Token at $499.99.

Namco Bandai Games America Inc. this week said it will release Enemy Front for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC June 10.

Developed by CI Games, the World War II first-person shooter utilizes the CryENGINE and will feature sniping, stealth, and shooting gameplay.

The final game includes the option to plan a mission route, disable and dispatch troops through sabotage, or engage in a full frontal assault.

Crytek Inc. this week released the open beta for Warface Xbox 360 Edition for the Xbox 360 in the Xbox Live division.

The beta includes three versus modes, two co-op settings with multiple mission types and difficulties, and daily new missions.

Warface is a free-to-play online first-person shooter with competitive and cooperative multiplayer.

The final game will include updated content, daily co-op campaign missions, and new maps and weaponry.

Aksys Games this week said it will release Mind Zero for the Playstation Vita May 27th.

Mind Zero is a first-person dungeon crawler in which users fight with MINDs, powerful creatures that can be used for battle.

The final game will be released at retail and in digital format.

Sales for Nintendo Co.’s Wii U hardware ranked fifth in Japan in the latest sales data for the region.

Media Create Co. this month reported that the Wii U sold 9,982 units between Mar. 17 and Mar. 23 to rank at No. 5 in overall sales.

It sold 7,654 units the week prior.

Nintendo this week released Dr. Mario for the Wii U in the Virtual Console division.

Dr. Mario is a 1-2 player puzzle title released for the NES in which users match like vitamins to counteract viruses.

It sells at $4.99.

The Nintendo 3DS ranked as the No. 1 hardware in Japan in the latest sales data from the territory.

Media Create Co. this month said the Nintendo 3DS sold 40,276 units between Mar. 17 and Mar. 23 to rank as the No. 1 game hardware for the week.

The hardware sold 34,144 units the week prior.

It ranked two titles in the top 10 including Mario Party: Island Tour at No. 1 and Yo-Kai Watch at No. 8.

Activision Blizzard Inc. this week released Diablo III: Reaper of Souls for the PC to U.S. retail.

The expansion pack includes the all-new Act V storyline, new Adventure mode, and powerful new treasures.

Diablo III for the Playstation 3 was released in Sept. and includes local co-op, new inventory system, updated boss battles and more.

The Diablo III PC SKU has sold 12 million units in worldwide territories to date.
