Sony Corp. this week began holding the PS Vita Anniversary Sale in the Playstation Network division.
Discounted titles include Castlestorm at $6.99 ($4.89 PS Plus), Escape Plan at $10.49 ($7.34 PS Plus), Hotline Miami at $4.99 ($2.50 PS Plus), Killzone Mercenary at $24.99 ($17.49 PS Plus), and Ragnarok Odyssey at $20.99 ($14.69 PS Plus).
Sony in Mar. will sell the PS Vita PCH-2000 Borderlands 2 Bundle.
The bundle includes the PS Vita PCH-2000 SKU, Borderlands 2 Voucher, six DLC Packs, and 8GB Memory Card at $199.99.
The PCH-2000 SKU is 20 percent slimmer and 15 percent lighter than the previous SKU. It will include an LCD screen compared to the current model OLED display.
In addition, battery life has been extended to four to six hours compared to the current model at three to five hours.
The PS Vita and PSP sold two million units combined in the three-month period between Oct. and Dec. 2013.
Sony forecasts sales of five million PS Vita and PSP units by fiscal Mar. 2014.
