Best Buy Co. Inc. this week price cut Nintendo eShop Cards by 20 percent in a new retail sale.

This week, all Nintendo eShop Cards sell between $16.00 and $40.00. The cards typically sell at $20 to $50 each.

The Wii U has sold 5.86 million hardware units and 29.37 software units to date. It sold 2.4 million Wii U units in the quarter.

The Nintendo 3DS has sold (to retailers) 42.74 million units and 152.29 software units to date.

The company forecasted a loss of $242 million for the fiscal year ending Mar. 31. In addition, it has lowered Wii U annual sales to 2.8 million from nine million and Nintendo 3DS annual sales to 13.5 million from 18 million units.
