Nintendo Co. this week said Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for the Nintendo 3DS has sold more than 3.25 million units to date in the U.S.

The titles sold 125,000 units in Jan.

In addition, the titles have sold 11.6 million units worldwide to date.

The figure includes digital sales of the title via the Nintendo eShop.

Pokemon X and YPokemon X and Pokemon Y are all-new Pokemon entries that allow users to catch, trade and battle in 3D battles.

Nintendo in Sept. began sale of the Nintendo 3DS Pokemon X, Y handheld 29 at $199.99 and the Nintendo 2DS handheld in Oct. at $129.99.
