Microsoft Corp. this week said the Xbox One sells nearly three game titles per console purchased.
The company said U.S. customers have purchased an average of 2.7 games per console since launch.
The Devices and Consumer division, which includes the Xbox platform, held $1.9 billion in revenue, a 68 percent increase from the year prior.
Microsoft held earnings of $6.56 billion on revenue of $24.52 billion in the second quarter ending Dec. 31, 2013.
The Xbox One features an 8-core AMD CPU, Radeon GPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.
It sells at $499.99.
