Microsoft Corp. this week detailed the multiplayer System Update for the Xbox One due in Mar. 4.

In the update, the user friends list will be displayed on the front page of the Friends application. In addition, Party Chat will be turned on by default, users can chat with Party Chat friends and friends playing in game, an ‘Invite Friends to Game’ option will be displayed in multiplayer titles, and a Recent Players list will show Xbox Live members a user recently played with.

The update will be launched in advance of the release of Titanfall to improve the party and multiplayer systems.

In Feb., Microsoft released an update that allows users to manage their storage space, manage the download queue, add a controller battery power indicator, and add the option to use a USB keyboard.

The Xbox One features an 8-core AMD CPU, Radeon GPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray disc drive, 802.11n Wireless with Wi-Fi Direct, HDMI, and USB 3.0.

It sells at $499.99.
