Sony Corp. this week said it will sell the new PS Vita PCH-2000 SKU at U.S. retail this spring.

PS Vita PCH-2000The PCH-2000 SKU is 20 percent slimmer and 15 percent lighter than the previous SKU.

In addition, battery life has been extended to four to six hours compared to the current model at three to five hours.

It will included in a new Borderlands 2 Bundle with six DLC packs and an 8GB Memory Card at $199.00.

The PS Vita and PSP sold two million units combined in the three-month period between Oct. and Dec. 2013.

Sony forecasts sales of five million PS Vita and PSP units by fiscal Mar. 2014.
