Ubisoft Inc. this week released Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and the PC as a stand-alone title.
The title will be sold for the PS4 and PS3 in the Playstation Network division Feb. 18, and the PC Feb. 25 at $14.99.
Freedom Cry , originally released as DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, features Jackdaw’s Quartermaster Adewale, who is a master at melee weaponry and commands the Experto Crede, a customizable brig.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag features a new rebel assassin, Edward Kenway, who can switch between new weaponry including four flintlock pistols and dual cutlass swords.
The open world includes 50 locations to conduct pirate assassin activity to command a ship, the Jackdaw. In addition, users can pillage enemy ships to upgrade the Jackdaw with ammunition, equipment and disguises.
