It added that it would not rule out the possibility of making games using Nintendo characters, it clarified that it has no plans to release Nintendo software assets directly to mobile devices.
Nintendo this week forecasted a loss of $242 million for the fiscal year ending Mar. 31. In addition, it has lowered Wii U annual sales to 2.8 million from nine million and Nintendo 3DS annual sales to 13.5 million from 18 million units.
