GameStop Corp. this week disclaimed lowered Q4 profit expectations due to slower game demand for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360.

The retailer this week said sales fell 22.5 percent due to a stronger decline in older game sales which offset strong demand for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

In addition, it expects used game margins to fall between 46 to 48 percent in the quarter.
